Prototype Audio - Refund Policy

Scope — where this policy applies

This refund policy applies only to purchases made directly on prototype.audio (this website and our checkout). It does not govern sales through other stores or partner brands.

Prototype Audio collaborates with Sauceware Audio, Eraform Audio, and other labels and distributors. If you buy a collaboration product—or any release associated with Prototype Audio—through a partner’s store (for example Sauceware Audio, Eraform Audio, or another authorized retailer), that seller’s refund and return policy applies, not this one. Contact the store where you completed your purchase for refunds, returns, or billing questions.

Software

If you have installed and used a perpetual software product which does not feature a free trial, and are dissatisfied with it for any reason, we will issue a full refund within 7 days of your purchase.

This applies to all perpetual software purchases but excludes payment plans, sound packs or expansion packs that are associated with software products.

All refund requests will be processed within 1 week, and funds will be available within 1 - 2 weeks from your payment processor.

Purchases made outside prototype.audio—including through Sauceware Audio, Eraform Audio, or any other retailer—must be refunded or returned to that seller under their policy, not under the terms below.

Sound Packs & Expansions

We do not offer refunds on sound packs due to the nature of their installation. We encourage you to listen to the demos before purchasing and explore the stream to preview what's inside our full packs.

Refund Process

Please complete our contact form letting us know that you have tried the product but would like a refund.

Once the refund is confirmed, we will provide instructions on how to deactivate your plugin.

After the process is complete, we will refund the total purchase price.
